Curly hair can be both a blessing or hazel. It is more susceptible to frizz. When the curls look good, they really look good. Curly hair doesn't have a very smooth surface, so light does not reflects off it as much. When the curly hair is wet, it is usually straightens out. But as it dries, it absorbs water and come to their curliest form. Natural curly hair are genetically inherited and can vary between the siblings. Humidity is very effective for the curly hair because it makes the curls even curlier.

Curly hair can sometimes need little bit more care and attention as compared to the straight hair or any other type of the hair. Though curly hair is the most versatile type of the hair, it ranges fro the mermaid waves to the classic fro. Taking care of the curly hair can be a difficult task. So in care of the curly hair,keep in mind the basic steps;
Cleansing
To care for the curly hair, washing is the most important step. But do not wash such type of hair daily. Because the everyday washing of the curly hair can strip the hair of its natural oil. Always choose a shampoo that is specifically designed for the curly hair. Use a moisturizing shampoo to help hydrate the scalp. The best products for the curly hair are the alcohol free products. Because the products that contain alcohol dry out the hair. So avoid such products which dries out the hair.

Conditioning
Comb some conditioner through your hair before shampooing your hair. This will help evenly spread the conditioner from root to the end. Always detangle your hair before rinsing out the conditioner. The best conditioner for the curly hair should be moisturizing. A great conditioner will enhance your curls, not make them limp, flat or frizzy. Distribute the conditioner throughout all of your hair and untangle gently.
Drying and combing
Always blot wet hair dry with a towel. Do not rub your hair because rubbing can creates more frizz. Avoid running fingers through your hair as it dries out the hair. Moreover, it causes curls to separate and become frizzy. Comb the curly hair with a wide toothed comb when it is damp and not dripping wet as the wet hair breaks easily. When you comb your hair starting from the ends and going up to the roots of the hair.
Trimming
Curly hair do not absorb as much water and becomes dry. The dry hair leads toward the split ends and breakage. So it is necessary to trim your hair after every six to eight weeks. It will makes the curly hair shiny and healthy.

Tips for Curly Hair Care

  • To control frizzy hair, use an anti frizz serum to smooth the frizz, add shine and condition your hair.
  • Apply mousse to still damp hair and spread from roots to the ends. This will help control frizz.
  • Use a conditioner every time after you shampoo to re moisturize your hair.
  • Let your hair air dry to reduce frizzing, avoid brushing and using a towel to dry out your hair.
  • Avoid using narrow toothed combs and brushes. Always use a wide toothed comb and brushes.
  • Use a leave-in conditioner to make the hair easier to manage. Curly hair frizzes easily so the conditioner help prevents frizz.
  • Limit shampoo your hair to a maximum of not more than two times a week.
  • Deep condition your hair once a month or more to re- moisturize your hair and scalp.
